FAQ

Where can I purchase your produce?

We’re at the Ridgway Farmers Market every Friday, and the Montrose Farmers Market every Saturday. Check the market page for specific dates and times.

You can also find our produce at the Straw Hat Farm Market & Kitchen Store at 514 S 1st St. in Montrose.

What does no till mean?

No till growing is the practice of farming while disturbing the soil as little as possible. To achieve this goal, we routinely top our growing spaces with compost, keep as many roots in the ground as possible, and broadfork instead of deep till. This allows us to keep the soil structure as undisturbed as possible.

What does regenerative practices mean?

This means that we grow in a way that optimizes soil health, sequesters carbon, and enhances farm biodiversity. We do this by growing no till, rotating crops, and providing habitat and food for an array of pollinators.
